2010 Kiawah Art and House Tour
photo courtesy of Tina Schell Ø Deep within the gated community of “Cassique,” stands this unique hand-thrown-stucco-with-tabby home. It was inspired by the architecture of the British Arts and Crafts Movement of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Nestled within ancient live oaks, it affords a panoramic view of the tidal marsh, golf course, and the property’s own formal, terraced gardens. The home’s interior brims with specially crafted stonework, decorative ironwork, and the owners eclectic art and antique collection~ from the 19th century to the present.
